Tell HN: The HBO Max to Max “transition” locked me out of the service completely

I don't have a Twitter but I wanted to post this and get some more eyeballs on this. I live in Mexico, where HBO Max was available and I purchased a year long subscription. Then they made this switch, and now the HBO Max only opens to a splash screen telling me to download the Max app: https://ift.tt/AgU5nTX When I download the Max app, I get a screen telling me it's not available in my region yet: https://ift.tt/AB3FlW5 This whole thing has been so stupid and botched, it makes me really mad. Now I have to contact Apple support and try to cancel my subscription since I cannot access it anymore.
