How HN can better live up to the aspirational "On-Topic" guidelines: Nuke every thread that reaches ~2e+2 comments, no exceptions. This is based on the logic that nothing intellectual appeals to all that many people. Intellects vary too much. Search your feelings. You know it to be true. And hey, there are no ads anyway, so what's the downside?
