Ask HN: Desperately need “sales for nerds” advice

My background is software development but I spent my COVID year creating a brand of skincare products for climbers. In terms of product dev we did great: we have at least one product that could revolutionize climbing & climbers really like our whole line-up. Our IG, brand & message is well-received. BUT: I feel like I can’t SELL if my life depended on it. Talking to people, let alone selling, turns out to be extremely hard for me. I am DESPERATELY looking for advice on transitioning from development to traditional sales. I LOVE what we built but my lack of sales acumen is slowly killing the brand.
