Does computer societies like https://ift.tt/23GaXGK or https://www.bcs.org/ deliver on the promises they make for their members? Among other they offer career advice, access to resources that are meant to help you progress, and help with networking. Are you a member? do you feel like you benefit from it? Being member is meant to may it easier to give back to the community as well. How many of you got opportunities to teach and learn you would not get if not for being a member? What was this opportunity?
